I had the pleasure of being in attendance at the Kings vs Suns game Tuesday night and man was Power Balance Pavilion loud. Attendance at PBP was 13,774 and the Kings fed off the crowd all night.
The Kings were playing their first home game since their season-best 4-1 road trip. The Suns on the other hand were coming off a loss to Dallas and having lost 3-4 games.
The Kings had a slow first hal...

With the 26th pick in the 2001 NBA draft, Philadelphia selected Samuel Dalembert from Seton Hall University. Dalembert spent eight seasons with the Sixers defending the paint and occasionally scoring. Dalembert was then traded to the Kings in exchange for Spencer Hawes and Andres Nocioni before the start of the 2010-11 season.
Dalembert made his first trip back to Philly since being traded and m...

Are the Sacramento Kings making a late playoff run? With the win in Indiana on Friday, the Kings have won 3 out of their last 4 games now. The Kings are only 23 games behind 8th place Memphis with 11 games left in the season. If I do the math correctly then there is a chance, right?
Let's be real here, if anything the Kings are making a case for the NIT tournament. The NIT tournament in other wor...

How about the Sacramento Kings playing DEFENSE in the second half. And not just for a five minute stretch, but the whole second half. The Kings limited the Bucks to only 34 points in the second half while Sacramento netted 44 points.
Make that the second win on this five game road trip for the Kings, and they did it after getting blown out in Chicago by 40 points. Marcus Thornton led the Kings o...

Back to back games, back to back blowouts for the Kings. The second game, however, landed in the Loss column and it wasn't pretty. The final score was 132-92, a 40 point disaster.
Once again the Kings continue to turn the ball over and give up easy buckets. 22 Kings turnovers led to 35 points off turnovers for the Bulls. The Bulls on the other hand only committed 10 turnovers and allowed 12 point...

The Sacramento Kings got their 17th win of the season in a blowout of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Yes, it was against one of the other worst teams in the NBA but a road win is a road win for the Kings.
The Kings top performer was Slammin' Sammy who scored 26 points, 17 rebounds, and added 2 blocks. Marcus Thornton neared his first triple-double as a King but fell 2 rebounds and 1 assist shy. Mar...

March Madness continued inside Power Balance Pavilion on Friday. No, it wasn't a buzzer beating half court shot nor was it a 16 seed beating a 1 seed, it was just another horrific loss for the Sacramento Kings. Following a Wednesday night loss to the worst team in the NBA (Cavs), the Kings failed to do anything right against Philadelphia.
21 turnovers, 27 points off turnovers allowed, and 29-84...
